At a very young age, Ebrahim’s fascination with jewelry was ignited. His insatiable curiosity led him to embark on a journey of learning the intricacies of diamond and gem setting, guided by one of the masters of the profession. However, Ebrahim’s ambitions didn’t stop there. His passion extended to the design and manufacturing side of the jewelry business.
From Novice to Master
Ebrahim’s unrelenting dedication and countless hours of hard work bore fruit. By the time he reached adulthood, he had honed his skills to become one of the best diamond and gem setters in Tehran. His reputation quickly spread, and top jewelry shops in the city soon sought his expertise.
The Birth of Sameni Jewelry
In 1963, Ebrahim ventured into entrepreneurship and opened his first jewelry workshop and gallery in the heart of Tehran’s Gold & Jewelry Bazaar, marking the beginning of a fresh endeavor. Ebrahim’s commitment to nurturing talent extended to his employees, many of whom went on to become renowned diamond and jewelry setters.
A Journey of Excellence
In 1988, Ebrahim relocated his gallery and workshop to North Tehran, offering easier access to his growing clientele. Sameni Jewelry Gallery became renowned for its handcrafted, unique, custom-made, and high-quality jewelry. Every piece was designed and manufactured in their facility using gold, platinum, and high-quality natural precious and semi-precious gemstones.
The Rise of a Brand
As the years passed, the need for more space and client comfort became apparent. Additions were made to the gallery, and in 1995, it became the headquarters of Sameni Jewelry Company. The boutique-style gallery offered an exclusive shopping experience, complete with a fully equipped jewelry shop and expanded office space.
Recognition and Growth
In 2006, Sameni Jewelry took part in Tehran’s International Jewelry Expo, where it was honored with a special award for its exceptional booth and unique jewelry designs. The company continued to flourish, leading to the establishment of several additional branches in Tehran after 2010.
Ebrahim Sameni’s contributions to the jewelry industry extended beyond his business endeavors. For over a decade, he actively collaborated with the Tehran Jewelers Union as an expert in the Union’s expert committee, leveraging his extensive knowledge and skills to foster the industry’s growth and excellence. Simultaneously, he maintained a longstanding partnership with the Tehran Jewelers Association, working closely with industry peers to uphold and elevate craftsmanship and artistry standards in the city.
Since 2020, he expanded his commitment to sharing his knowledge and experience by instructing gem setting, jewelry design, and jewelry manufacturing at Pars University of Architecture & Art in Tehran, imparting his wisdom to a diverse group of students and jewelry enthusiasts. These collaborations not only solidified Ebrahim Sameni’s position as a respected figure within the industry but also allowed him to contribute to the community that had supported his remarkable journey. His dedication to enhancing the jewelry trade remained a testament to his unwavering commitment to the art and craft that had captured his heart from a young age.
A Global Venture and a Showcase of Artistry
In 2020, Sameni Jewelry expanded its horizons, entering the North American market with Toronto, Canada as its base of operations. This bold move marked a new chapter in the company’s journey.
The years 2022 and 2023 saw Sameni Jewelry actively participating in various art and cultural events, including Nowruz and Tirgan International Festivals. The brand showcased its exquisite jewelry to audiences from around the world, leaving an indelible mark on the international stage. This expansion and international presence reaffirmed Sameni Jewelry’s position as a global player in the world of fine jewelry, where creativity, craftsmanship, and elegance knew no borders.
